The best battery or power supply for emergency backup
One of the biggest questions we get is about the correct power supply for your adjustable bed base, power recliner or lift chair. We sell pretty much every power supply made. We have tested them all and know what are the best options.
If you are near a wall plug and not worried about cords or your power going out. a traditional wall plug will save you money and do a great job.

If you are looking for a battery option we offer to options. A 2000 mah version that will give you about 30 days of charge. We also have a 5000 mah version that will give you about 90 days of charge. Charge levels and days of use will be determined by how many motors you have, usb ports and other functions.

There is a wall plug option with a 9V battery backup. The idea behind this power supply is that in the event of an emergency, the 9V batteries will get you back to the "home" position. However, in most cases, customers will test the batteries when they buy the chair, not realizing they just killed the batteries. So when they actually need them, the batteries are already dead. If you are looking for both a battery and true emergency backup, there is a new option on the market called TRU battery backup. This option lets you keep the battery plugged in while using the chair. In a traditional battery, it is recommended to unplug the battery while in use or it can overheat or in rare situations catch fire.
With the TRU battery backup, it re-routes power correctly so that it can be plugged into the wall and be in use with no danger of overheating or fire. So, in the event of power outage, this battery would be able to supply up to 30 days of normal use power. It is no longer just to get you to the "home" position but allows for full use of your recliner or adjustable bed.
